Why WIT program is so unique?

Community Service

Community Service: Action speak louder than words ! We want our athletes to feel responsible and proud to continuously giving back to community and present a positive image to inspired next generation of your athletes. Therefore, each athletes would be ask to participate in community services that would replace one training session during WIT camp, because part of our WIT philosophy and the ultimate goal is to teach athletes to become a good citizens.

Challenge

Challenge: is very important factor to make a farther progress to go to the next level.. By setting a new goal and new challenges we will allowed athletes to test their character and discover unknown possibilities for their own individual improvement. We believe that in each of every athletes there is a warrior with great potential that must be discovered.

Commitment

Commitment: . Is what transforms a promise into reality and it has a purpose and power. It shows our determination and passion for our goal. Whether is finishing school, making a sports team, or getting a job , everything demands commitment. We want our kids to committed and passionate not only in the professional life but also to family, friends, and etc. Our goal is to teach our participant that setting a challenge, and sticking to that plan by making a serious commitment gives power and satisfaction. Therefore, each participant will be ask to sign a contract valid during time of running camps or individual session. We want teach our athletes than commitment is very important aspect of everyday life and involves trust that is a foundation of our successful life.

Confidence

Confidence: comes with preparation. We want challenge our participants, in order, to show them that they are capable to face and overcome their own fears by getting stronger and more powerful. We want them to believe in themselves and have a faith in their own possibilities. By overcoming our fears , committing to our worthy goals, facing a challenges , and accomplishing them, we can teach our warriors that nothing is impossible.

Define your own IT

Define your own IT: every athlete who decide to attend WIT camp or individual training session might have a different goal. Therefore, we start our training session with having individual one on one interview with each athletes to get to know them better and help each athlete to determine their own “it” which for WIT simply means individual goal.

Different approach

Different approach: Find the right balance of training . Many coaches as well as athletes embrace the “ more is better” attitude. However, more is not always better, and very often cause overtraining which in result causes athletes injuries . Just like a year has a different seasons, also sports season should have a different parts which in sports is called periodization. Therefore, WIT organization offers two different camps such as post season camp and preseason camp that focus on two different approaches. Post season camp starts after short break and regular season and put more emphases on equalization of muscles imbalances, stability, preventing injury and functional strength. When Preseason camp on the other hand focus on preparation athletes for the sports season and include sport specific skills and strength and conditioning. Long season causes athletes overuse; therefore, WIT organization design two different camps

Discipline

Discipline: we want our athletes to become a responsible and respectful citizens. WIT organization will ask participant to sign a gentleman agreement to behave in proper way in all times which means follow the soviar vive, and general rules of sportsmanship.

Education

Education: we believe in power of education. We want you to know why you are doing and why this is important. Our mission is to educate athletes and coaches about training and health awareness through training sessions and coaches clinic, as well as community by creating a separate programs and events that will emphasize health awareness. As a nonprofit organization our mission is to also create a solid network and involved in education parents, teachers ,school authorities, professionals, and etc. to increase awareness and importance of being healthy, as well as encourage other to start making a healthy choices .

Elite

Elite: WINdow program is for dedicated athletes who want to move to the next level of their own individual performance. We concentrate on their own individual need and educate athletes on many important aspects beside training such as health awareness, personal development, and professional attitude in all aspects of life. Our ultimate goal is to teach our athletes how to become a good and responsible citizens.

Individual approach

Individual approach: we believe that every athletes is unique and deserves individual attention, in order, to move forward and make a farther progress. Therefore, we create a programs designed for each athlete according to age, level of performance, and goals. We also monitor our athletes and make adjustment to these programs if necessary during our practice sessions.

Injury risk reduction

Injury risk reduction: Do not wait when injury happen! Start work on preventing now. Overtraining is the result of the excessive training and inadequate recovery that cause long term physical and mental fatigue as well as injuries. During training session and coaches clinics WIT organization presents various exercises necessary for preventing risk of injury. Post season would be a great time to work on that important aspects, especially that athletes finish their sport season and should continue to stay active but with less intensity as a part of recovery process after intensive season.

International connection

International connection: WIT organization wants to create a network with coaches in USA to open the widow of possibilities to recruit European players to colleges ,as well as help American players to have a chance to play in European league after college carrier by making connection with European clubs.

International recognition

International recognition: our long term goal is to make this program international by doing a camps changeable in USA and in different part of Europe, in order, to expose young people to different cultures . We also want to invite different coaches and professional to coaches clinics to exchange the knowledge about training, nutrition, preventing injuries , and etc. to give a broader spectrum about healthy life style and personal development.

Leadership

Leadership: through our pathway we want to inspired community to change their lives by promoting a healthy life style. Also by creating a special programs designed for community and athletes specifically, we also want to encourage others to change their eating habits and exercise, as well as, inspired athletes to move to the next level of their own individual performance, so they can become a leaders of their own future.

Life skills

Life skills: WIT organization’s philosophy is to teach young people respect, discipline, responsibility for themselves and others. Through our camps young athletes teach savoir vievre and there are not allowed to use profanity in all time.

Limited numbers of participants

Limited numbers of participants: during our elite camp we limited the numbers of participant to twenty four to create bounding experience for both coaches and athletes.

Nutrition

Nutrition: is another important detail in becoming a successful athletes .We want to educate our athletes that fueling body and having a proper nutrition have a tremendous effects on performance and takes very important and active part in recovering process after training.

Post injury

Post injury: when athletes already get a medical permission from their doctors to join a team again, athletes usually do not feel mentally and physically ready yet to come on the team and compete again. WIT organization helps to overcome their fears and prepare athletes in their own pace…by creating a special program for athletes who finished rehab and get permission from doctor to start work out. They can participate in both edition of camps, but they will have individual approach and separate program that will help them to come back to shape and get their confidence back, before they feel ready to join their team again .

Transition to the next level

Transition to the next level:  Transition of moving athletes to the next level of competition might be very stressful like for example for senior in high school moving to college.  WIT organization present training sessions that helps athletes to prepare to that next level of competition and gives confident to each individual that comes through preparation.
