Summary of WIT 2015
By In NewsIf we can describe this summer in one word, we would have to use word ” inspiring”. We had a privilege to work with many different age group providing our three different products such as:
1. WIT Elite Athletics – collaboration with High School teams and individual work outs.
This past summer,we started our collaboration with Morton Poters High School Mens basketball Team.
During six weeks program we were working on strength and conditioning and basketball aspects. This was a great experience for us being able to work with such a discipline, hard working, and dedicated group of young athletes. As weeks past, we started to implement more difficult and challenging exercises, and they respond it well to ” our european style basketball”, and strenght and conditioning program that we designed for them.

2.European style basketball camp for Jr.high boys and girls athletes was also very awording experince for us. During our camp we were working on dribbling, passing, and defense. All athletes showed their passion for basketball every practice, in spite, that some exercises were new for them.

3. Little Warriors basketball Academy. This was our younger group from 4-6 years old. This class last for 5 weeks and we met every Thursday. This group make us smile every class, because of their great energy, enthusiasm, and charisma. They really remind us every class how fun basketball is. Their energy was very contagious. In spite of their young age, they showed great sportmenship and understanding of what sports are all about.
In this class we put a lot of emphisis on nutrition. After every class we encourages our little athletes to eat healthy by providing them with different healthy snacks. Believe it or nor, but first class no of them wanted to try carrots, but as we progress with our classes, our little athletes were able to admit they they actually like that and others vegetable.
This summer we also provide our service and volunteer in other non-profit organizations as a part of our WIT’s philosophy. Just like last summer, we helped in the Hult Center where we worked with over 250 youth.
We helped with all aspects of the Healthy Heroes program- specifically physical activities and we had so much fun. We would like to thank you one very special PET teacher- Miss Julie who always makes her classes so much fun for kids.
